Kalispell police

A 15-year-old girl apparently jumped from a car on Seventh Avenue West North. Apparently wearing no shoes, she reportedly walked to her sister’s house. Her mother was notified and reportedly will pick the girl up.

During a job interview at an agency on Kelly Road, a man apparently kept ‘casing’ the building, according to the interviewer, who reportedly told Kalispell Police the man was “clearly was not interested in the job”.

A woman on North Belmar Drive called police alleging her ex-husband took her clothes and television from her house. She called back later to report that she found them. Apparently he had hidden them in her garage.

Apparently a man living in a van parked outside a business on East Center Street is not in violation of criminal laws. Police reportedly cannot remove him until the business presses charges, as the vehicle is technically on private property.

The Christmas tree reportedly in the center lane of U.S. 93 North was gone when officers arrived.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting food items from a warehouse store on U.S. 93 North.

A man who possibly had been drinking was reportedly in the street on West Idaho. He was gone when police arrived.

Officers received 77 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Flathead County sheriff

A soon-to-be-ex husband reportedly locked himself in the business he and his estranged wife co-own and will not leave. The woman called deputies to report that the man is reportedly trying to take items she says belong to the business. He claimed the property belongs to him. Parties were counseled.

A customer allegedly left a motel on Montana 35 Thursday without paying a $1,100 bill.

A game system was apparently stolen from a residence on Lone Pine Road Thursday. The female suspect was contacted by authorities and reportedly said she will drop off the system at the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. The victim told authorities that charges will be dropped if this happens.

Deputies were unable to locate juvenile males reportedly throwing rocks at cars near U.S. 2 East in Hungry Horse Thursday night. No vehicle damage has been reported.

Two men who reportedly jumped a fence and entered the yard of a business on Brunner Road in Columbia Falls left when employees yelled at them.

An officer sprained his ankle during fitness training Friday afternoon.

Two men reportedly trespassing on a Rocky Cliff Drive property ran off and jumped in a vehicle when they saw the property owner.

Deputies received 119 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Unknown persons have reportedly been smashing vehicle windows, stealing anything from purses to money to cigarettes and other miscellaneous items Thursday night. Columbia Falls Police have received four reported, so far, which have occurred in the Scenic View subdivision area.

Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish Police received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

A science experiment at a high school on Wolfpack Way reportedly set off the fire alarm. Kalispell Fire responded and determined there was no danger, only lots of smoke.
