son of Joy and Curtis Bartel of Kalispell, was born Oct. 18 at North Valley Hospital.

He weighed 10 pounds, 13.9 ounces, and was 23 inches long.

James joins Andrew Nathan Bartel, 13, Bethany Joy Bartel, 10, Anna Brook Bartel, 8, Maria Rose Bartel, 6, Michael Anthony Bartel, 4, and Joseph Gabriel Bartel, 2.

Paternal grandparents are Walter and Maureen Bartel of St. Paul, Minn. Maternal grandparents are Teresa Poppert of Knoxville, Tenn., and Douglas Tolliver of Scottsmoor, Fla.
