The man run over by a car Friday evening is OK. The 41-year-old man told Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies he doesn’t want to press charges against his girlfriend, 44. She was backing out in her truck on her way to work and didn’t see him as he jumped behind the vehicle, apparently to grab a jacket from the bed. The man told authorities he slipped and fell while reaching in and the truck ran over his legs. He was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with injuries to his legs, head and hands. At the scene, nothing appeared broken, according to authorities.

Deputies busted a large underage drinking party around midnight Friday, arresting six teens on minor in possession charges. Authorities towed one car, intending to obtain a search warrant after seeing a marijuana pipe on the dashboard. The car’s owner refused to submit to a search of the vehicle at the scene. When authorities arrived, they saw about 20 people run into the woods and noticed several teens looking out the windows duck down and attempt to hide. At least one teen later returned to the house from the woods because it was cold. The host was talking on his cell phone when deputies arrived. He was cooperative and helped to pour out alcohol but refused a breathalyzer. The large number of cars parked in front of the house on the first street south of Turtle Mountain Road apparently aroused suspicion. Authorities were on the scene for about three hours.
