Veronta Lynn Roni Anderson, 50

Veronta Lynn Roni Anderson, 50, passed away at her daughter s home in the early morning hours of Jan. 17, 2010. Roni was born May 15, 1959, in Miles City, the eldest child of F.I. Ivan and Betty Jean B.J. Korneychuk. Roni lived in Billings until 1975, then moved with her family to Kalispell. She graduated from Flathead High School and met the love of her life Robert Bob Anderson; they married on Jan. 21, 1977. She and Bob owned their landscaping business of 25 years and Roni still managed to be a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, spending her last years at their beautiful Ashley Lake home. Roni was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rose Griffith; and close family friend, Jacob Sutton. Roni is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bob Anderson; son, Nathan Anderson; and daughter, Nichole Anderson; and grandchildren, Karsyn and Kylie Anderson. She is also survived by her parents, Ivan and B.J. Korneychuk; her sister, Kristi Schweigert; nephews, Kyle and Tylor Schweigert; and other family members. A memorial service will be held for Roni at 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at New Covenant Fellowship Church in Kalispell. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Kalispell, 175 Commons Loop, Kalispell, MT 59901, would be appreciated.
