Brendon Limpo cuts limbs from a tree infected with Dutch elm disease on Second Avenue East on Tuesday morning in Kalispell. Limpo is part of the crew from Aspen Urban Forestry that will take down about five infected trees per day, depending on the size and location of the trees. Crews will work in one-block areas along Second Avenue this week and into early next week, according to Mike Baker, Kalispell Parks and Recreation director. He said that after that crews would begin working on Third Avenue East. Tree work will continue into April to remove 75 to 90 trees in Kalispell.
