Woman trapped in car wash OK

Kalispell police

Trapped in her vehicle inside an automatic car wash, a woman called police. She called back later to report that her doors opened when another vehicle pulled up behind her to use the facility on U.S. 93 South. Kalispell Police advised the owner of the situation.

Around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision near the intersection of Hutton Ranch Road and Reserve. It is unknown if the occupants of the vehicles were injured. The extent of damage to the vehicles is unknown, but two wreckers were dispatched.

A man reportedly kicked a woman out of a vehicle on Hawthorn Avenue and the two began arguing Wednesday night. They were gone when police arrived.

Police were unable to locate the two men who reportedly broke down the door of a residence on Third Avenue West around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

A 16-year-old was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon on school property and for being a minor in possession of tobacco. He told police he had grabbed the wrong coat on the way to school.

Flathead County sheriff

A parent called deputies to report that her 13-year-old and 11-year-old children were fighting in a Trails End Drive home Wednesday night. Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies offered advice.

The “smoke” that was reported as pouring from a mailbox attached to an East Oregon residence Wednesday afternoon turned out to be steam from a dryer vent and was not fire-related.

Two teens reportedly stole cosmetics from a box store on U.S. 2 East around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. In an unrelated incident at the same box store, a woman reportedly stole CDs around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities were unable to locate the prowler a woman reportedly saw near her Whitefish Stage home around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

At a Bigfork residence, a man and a woman yelling at each other during an apparent break-up were separated by deputies Thursday morning.

A 48-year-old Hungry Horse man was arrested on charges of partner and family member assault and probation violation Thursday around 11:30 a.m. following an alleged incident involving a woman and her 24-year-old son at a Circle Drive residence.

A cat bite was reported at noon Thursday. 

A dog owner was spoken to by deputies around noon Thursday after the dog reportedly kept getting into a neighbor’s garbage.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls Police were unable to locate a subject seen walking in the turn lane of U.S. 2 Wednesday night.

Unknown subjects cut and may have stolen some wiring from a construction site on 13th Street West around 10:47 a.m. Thursday.

Officers received 8 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

A 36-year-old woman passed out due to unknown medical conditions at a building on Financial Drive and was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center around 10 a.m. Thursday.
