Victor Storaasli, 53

Victor Storaasli, 53, a Cottage Grove, Ore., resident, passed away Jan. 18, 2010, due to cancer. He was born March 5, 1956, in Kalispell, to Dale and Lora Lee (Hoiland) Storaasli. He had graduated from high school in Montana. Victor had previously lived in Santa Cruz, Calif.; Kalispell and Seattle. He enjoyed woodworking, music, guitar, piano, drawing, taking long walks and photography. Victor was preceded in death by his father, Dale Storaasli. He is survived by his mother, Lora Lee; stepfather, Phil Jensen; brother, Mark, and wife, Mary Storaasli, of Spokane; brother, Harry Storaasli, of Cottage Grove; sister, Jeri, and husband, Peter Carson, of Springfield, Ore.; niece, Hannah Storaasli, of Spokane; niece, Amanda Storaasli, of Austin, Texas; and great-niece, Helen Truitt, of Spokane. A celebration of life is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at Cottage Grove Community Center, 700 E. Gibbs, in Cottage Grove.
