Olga Price, 95, formerly of Kalispell, passed away on Jan. 24, 2010, at a nursing home in Burien, Wash. She was born Feb. 10, 1914, in Leroy, Saskatchewan, to Ole and Thea Borgen. In 1915 her family moved and settled in Silva, N.D. The family then moved to Kalispell in 1928. Olga married Ralph Cap Price in 1937. They moved to the Seattle area in 1943, living most of their time in the Burien area. Olga was an awesome cook for the Highline School District for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; father and mother; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Roger Price of Seattle, and Norm Price and Judy of Selah, Wash.; one daughter, Sunny Hess, and Gary, of Brush Prairie, Wash.; six grandsons and eight great-grandchildren; also one sister, Mickie McPoland, of Seattle; and one sister-in-law, Florence Borgen, of Kalispell. Graveside services for Olga Price will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell. Memorial services will also be held at 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Glendale Lutheran Church in Seattle. The family suggests donations be made in Olga s name to the charity of your choosing.
