Lakers drop pair at Rein tournament

BOZEMAN — The Kalispell A Lakers came up short twice during Saturday’s pool play action at the Howard Rein American Legion baseball tournament.

The Billings Blue Jays, led by two RBIs from Pete Lind and Chance Ackerman, downed Kalispell 9-7.

Scott Decker, 2-for-3, had 2 RBIs for Kalispell and Zack Riviere, 1-for-3, drove in three runs.

Missoula thumped Kalispell 15-1 in the other outing.

POLSON — Libby’s seven-game winning streak came to an end as Livingston scored in every inning but the fifth at the 4th of July Firecracker Tournament.

Livingston outhit Libby 16-7.
