Strange lights spotted over lake

Strange lights were reported over Flathead Lake Saturday night.

Lake County Sheriff’s deputies arrested someone on a criminal contempt warrant at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at the Arlee Pow Wow.

An arrest was made in relation to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at mile marker 26 on U.S. 93 at 10:16 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a theft complaint in the 3500 block of Courville Trail at 5:21 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to possible DUI on U.S. 93 south of Elmo at 9:07 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a noise disturbance at a Pablo bar at 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities responded to a report of a grass fire at mile marker 87 on U.S. 93 at 9:18 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a runaway juvenile in the 61200 block of Old Freight Road at 2:12 a.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a possible DUI on West Post Creek Road at 4:32 a.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a family member assault in the 41400 block of U.S. 93 at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a theft in the 69600 block of Pellew Creek Lane at 2:22 p.m. Saturday.

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of vandalism at an apartment at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

Polson Police responded to a disorderly conduct around a gym at 10:18 p.m. Saturday.

Officers responded to a family member assault at a bar at 1:55 a.m. Saturday.

Police responded to a report of an animal bite/vicious dog at a resort on U.S. 93 at 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

Ronan Police responded to a possible DUI at a gas station at 6:53 p.m. Saturday.

Due to implementation of a new 911 dispatch center, no reports were available from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

Due to short staffing, no reports were available from Kalispell Police. Reports are expected to resume Tuesday in time for Wednesday’s paper.
