Unconscious man rescued from raft

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a unconscious man on a raft on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River at 11:48 a.m. Monday. The man turned out to be suffering from hypothermia and was flown to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Deputies responded to a report of a theft of two pontoon boats and an inner tube in Kila.

A Pioneer Road resident reported a stolen lawn mower.

Theft of money was reported on Shady Lane.

An Evergreen man found marijuana on his son. The boy was on probation and arrested.

A neighbor reported goats destroying her property.

At 3:30 p.m., a report was taken of a stolen mailbox in Columbia Falls.

Two dogs and a puppy were reported stolen from a kennel on Cayuse Lane.

Three people were in the water at Flathead Lake after their catamaran overturned at 4:44 p.m. Monday. They were pulled to shore by a Good Samaritan before deputies arrived.

A man was arrested at 7:27 p.m. after a partner/family member assault left another man bloody.

Downed trees were reported on Reserve Drive at 7:07 p.m. Monday.

A woman was arrested on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish after a fight with her boyfriend. Both had been drinking.

Loose cows were reported on Rhodes Draw at 11:08 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell Police responded to a theft report in the 900 block of West Idaho Street at 2:16 p.m. Monday. A woman was cited and released on a charge of theft/shoplifting.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road at 3:11 p.m. Monday.

Police responded to a report of a man pointing a gun at another at 7:03 p.m. Monday on Woodland Avenue. The suspects were in a gray Oldsmobile with no plates. The driver was described as Hispanic with a flat-billed hat.

Police responded to a call of someone noticing graffiti on a building in the 200 block of Summit Ridge Drive.

Police responded to a report of a camera being taken from the front seat of a vehicle at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday on Ford Way.

A rifle was taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Empire Loop Monday night.

Alarms

A fire around 5 p.m. Monday on private property near Ashley Lake was on one-tenth of an acre and flared up after a controlled burn a few weeks ago. The fire was contained by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation.

Power outages occurred at around 7:30 p.m. Monday after a tree fell on a transmission line near Montana 40 and Whitefish Stage Road. Several thousand people were impacted in Whitefish and Columbia Falls, according to Flathead Electric Coop spokeswoman Wendy Ostrom Price.

The Montana Highway Patrol was investigating a fatality that occurred at mile marker 168 on U.S. 2 south of Glacier National Park Tuesday afternoon.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested someone after a partner/family member assault in the 63300 block of U.S. 93 in Ronan at 1:49 a.m. Monday.

A trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia was reported in the Boettcher Park area in Polson at 2:34 a.m. Monday.

A vehicle theft at a bank in Ronan was reported at 12:56 p.m. Monday.

A bike was stolen from a deck on Appleway Drive Monday night.

A woman was arrested and charged with DUI on Idaho Street at 9:40 p.m. Monday.
