Home had 'a lot of marijuana,' no card

Kalispell Police assisted a parole and probation officer Tuesday at a residence in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue West where there was “a lot of marijuana,” no marijuana card and children in the house. A woman, 33, was arrested for possession of drugs and paraphernalia.

A person called from Second Street East to report the recent theft of a laptop computer.

A College Avenue resident reported a theft of property that occurred in the morning and stated that he had located the missing property at an East Idaho Street pawn shop.

There was a report of a man who had been drinking in a vehicle at a parking lot on the 2900 block of U.S. 93 South. The man, 55, was arrested on a felony Flathead County drunk-driving warrant.

A man called from the 300 block of Fourth Avenue East to report that he was threatened and charged by another man, who was only deterred because the reporting party swung a chain at him. The matter is under investigation.

A woman threatening suicide was detained at a residence in the 1900 block of Greatview Drive and taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

Someone paintballed a vehicle in a driveway on the 500 block of Parkway Drive.

On Wednesday morning, a woman who called to report that she had cut her wrists was transported to the Kalispell hospital for treatment.

A resident in the 500 block of First Avenue West reported that her house and cars keep getting egged and she would like some help with it.

A resident on the 800 block of Eighth Avenue West reported that someone siphoned gas from a truck overnight.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report from a daughter home alone in the Haywire Gulch area about a strange woman who approached the house and then entered the garage. The girl provided a license plate number, the vehicle was located by a deputy, and the woman turned out to be a census worker.

There was a report of about 30 cows being loose on Star Meadow Road Tuesday.

A Swan View Trail resident reported that his mail was torn up and thrown in a nearby ditch.

There was a report of a wallet being stolen from a vehicle on West Cottonwood Drive.

A man reported that he was struck by another man at the Marion Post Office.

A despondent woman in the Coram area was detained and taken to the Kalispell hospital for a mental health evaluation.

There was a report of a dog killing chickens at a Four Mile Drive property, and apparently it is a recurring problem.

There was a report of a mailbox being knocked down on Lenwood Lane.

There was a report of a vehicle break-in at the Teakettle boat launch in the Columbia Falls area, but it was unclear if any items were taken.

Deputies responding to a disturbance in the Hungry Horse area ended up separating a husband and wife for the night.

Responding to a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon, the Kalispell ambulance ended up transporting one person to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
