Joyce Evelyn Isch, 85

Joyce Evelyn Isch, 85, passed away July 22, 2010, in Tacoma, Wash. She was born to Frank and Retta Moothart in East Wenatchee, Wash., on March 9, 1925. She moved to Kalispell at a very early age. Joyce attended Flathead County High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, John Isch. They married in 1945, after John returned from service in the Pacific during World War II. Following John and his work, they lived in several western states, finally settling in Washington. Joyce enjoyed a passion for sewing, needlepoint and butterflies. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Judy and Ray Shulmire, Joy and Ed Dolan, and Jayne and Ron Isch; and her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Elaine Moothart. She is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
