Unwelcome texts prompt call to police

Kalispell Police officers responded after a man in the 200 block of Kara Drive reported that a woman texted him even though he had a no-contact order on her.

Someone went through the safe and pulled some stuff out and sprayed the fire extinguisher in a building at the fair grounds.

A theft of medicine was reported by someone in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue East. The theft was reportedly made by a caregiver.

A motor-vehicle injury accident was reported at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday on Woodland Park Drive after a van and a Honda collided.

A trespass was reported in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue West when a co-worker kept banging on someone’s door and wouldn’t leave.

A man was transported to the hospital at 7:35 p.m. after he was passed out in the middle of First Avenue East and then under a bench in front of a bank. The man had been complaining of pain in his left arm.

Someone complained about people below him in an apartment smoking marijuana because he could smell it. The man was advised to contact the property manager as the people could have a medical marijuana card.

A man was arrested on U.S. 93 after he was walking into traffic at 11:46 p.m. The man had an arrest warrant.

A green Subaru reportedly forced a bus onto the curb in the 900 block of S. Main Street at 11:14 a.m. Thursday.

Criminal mischief was reported after someone’s car was spray-painted in the 800 block of Second Avenue West.

A camera was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Third Avenue East.

Someone complained about tree branches flying out the back of a pickup on West Idaho Street at 12:17 p.m. Thursday.

A man reported his wallet and checkbook missing after he left them on top of his vehicle and drove off between First Avenue West and Fourth Street West at 12:24 p.m. Thursday.

Flathead County’s Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal cruelty call at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday after a horse was hung up in a fence in the Bigfork area.

 An 8:30 a.m. call came in about a woman knocking on a trucker’s window in Lakeside and wanting a ride to Polson.

Someone complained about graffitti being spray-painted on a wall on Blacktail Road.

At 1:30 p.m., someone called to complain about a Census worker.

A man was arrested at McGregor Lake west of Kalispell and charged with disorderly conduct. The man was knocking on doors asking for bug spray, bothering some women and had been kicked out of the campground.

Someone from a dental office reported that earlier in the day a couple came in with a child and were under the influence and asking for pain medication.

A dog was reported stolen at 9:40 p.m., but was later found tied up.

A report came in about numerous men fighting in a front yard in the Canyon. Parties were separated.

A complaint came in about some drunk people being loud on a boat in the middle of a lake.

Someone was concerned about a missing 15-year-old male and an 18-year-old female at 1:34 a.m. after they went on a rafting trip and didn’t return. One later sent a text message and the two were safe.

Polson Police officers arrested someone in relation to possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of Island View Drive in Polson at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday.
