Woman run over by vehicle

A woman ended up under a car after someone apparently hit the gas following a disturbance in the parking lot next to a Montana 35 bar around 4 p.m. Monday.

The woman was freed and transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center via Evergreen Ambulance. No more details were available at press time.

Yelling and hiding behind trees, a man wearing a black trench coat and black pants followed a woman around Woodland Park around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, but left toward the warming hut when she threatened to call Kalispell Police.

Someone stole the handrail from a vacant property along Fourth Avenue East North Sunday afternoon. There are no suspects.

Burglars apparently came in through an unlocked window sometime Saturday night, busted a computer and stole prescription medications from a Jackson Peak Drive residence. Officers are investigating.

A man apparently pulled a gun on another man while in the parking lot of an East Idaho diner, then left westbound on East Idaho around 4 a.m. Monday.

Deputies are investigating an alleged fight between two men near the Stillwater Christian School that happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

A man wearing a bright green coat was seen flying a kite under the power lines along West Evergreen Drive around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

An 8-year-old boy was apparently assaulted by another boy while at the park, a Helena Flats Road resident reported around 8 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies were unable to locate the children seen throwing rocks at a Shadow Lane residence around midnight Sunday.

A Kintla Way house was egged sometime early Sunday.

Unknown people broke into a hair salon along U.S. 2 East sometime Sunday night. Deputies are investigating.

Someone has been dumping trash in the container belonging to a truck parts store along Montana 35.

A rock was kicked up by a mower and flew through the window of an Addison Square residence around noon Monday.

A home has been found for the Siamese kitten located in the woods Monday afternoon.

Told he couldn’t leave tires at the dump, a man apparently began swearing and left around 11 a.m. Monday. He later returned and retrieved them.

Officers received approximately 16 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday, since their computer system was down at press time and dispatchers weren’t sure of the exact number.

Alarms

After falling backward off a swing at a Kienas Road residence Sunday evening, a 90-year-old was transported via Smith Valley Ambulance to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Following an apparent assault around 3 p.m. Monday near the Fourth Avenue West and Ninth Street West intersection, an extremely intoxicated person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks was notified about the fox that has been “hanging out in the neighborhood” and sleeping in a Woodland Drive backyard.

A pregnant woman was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after a man apparently tackled her to the ground along Reserve Loop just after midnight Sunday.
