Polson lands 3 on Class A all-state softball team

Three members of the Class A state softball championship team from Polson have been to the all-state team.

Staci Benson, a senior, Kayla Duford, a junior, and Kodi Woods, a junior, are the selections.

Benson was also named all-state a year ago.

Northwestern A’s other all-state selections are: Alysha Martin, a junior, from Libby; Hailey Mortensen, a senior, from Whitefish; and Shaun Rowe, a sophomore, from Columbia Falls.

Those six players were also named to the all-conference first-team in balloting by league coaches.
