Deputies NOT hiding under boat

After a man was apparently running around outside and looking under a trailer and boat for Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies at a Van Sant Road residence Tuesday night, Evergreen Ambulance transported him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A North Foys Lake Road resident could apparently hear a gun firing and bullets zinging past the house, but real-life deputies didn’t locate any suspicious circumstances when they investigated around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies found a drunk man and woman trespassing at a Trails End Drive residence around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Someone used an ax to bust up a Gordon Avenue resident’s lawnmower. Deputies are investigating.

While training Tuesday evening, Evergreen Fire Rescue located an empty boat.

Deputies counseled a man after his ex-girlfriend and 15 other people apparently wouldn’t let him into a Shady Lane residence around midnight Tuesday.

Early Wednesday, there was a fight involving two men and a woman on Commerce Street in Bigfork, and when they left in a vehicle there was a report that the driver had been drinking.

A man showed up at a residence on Mooring Road near Columbia Falls, saying that he had just been beaten up by his roommate. Three Rivers Ambulance was dispatched, but there was no transport.

At about 5 a.m., deputies executed a search warrant at a Pioneer Road residence, looking for a man on a parole violation. They found marijuana and a resident who had a medical marijuana card. They later located and arrested the man with the parole violation south of Columbia Falls.

A Middle Road resident reported that her neighbor had thrown a dead chicken at her pigs in the latest episode of an ongoing dispute. Deputies were unable to find evidence to support her claim.

The owner of a business on U.S. 2 East reported that a man was in a truck outside, claiming to be an employee, but the owner doesn’t know who he is. The man eventually left.

A woman reported that she was threatened by a man at her Bigfork area business. The two had a prior history in Lake County.

After a three-car crash with no injuries on U.S. 93 near Northridge Drive Tuesday afternoon, Kalispell Police arrested a man for drunk driving.

A person reported that a part pit bull had crossed the street on Sixth Avenue West and attempted to attack her dogs.

Two teenage boys were arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store on U.S. 93 South.

Officers who conducted a welfare check on a person at a West Idaho convenience store ended up arresting a man, 20, on a probation violation.

Responding to a noise complaint over a loud party on the 1600 block of Fifth Avenue East late Tuesday, officers arrested a male for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Wednesday morning, there was a report of a burglary on the 500 block of Sixth Avenue West North, involving a smashed door and a broken lock.

Officers received 58 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish Police returned a bag with money to a local business Tuesday night.

A woman was escorted by officers from a Central Avenue bar after she refused to leave.

Columbia Falls Police arrested a man, 28, for drunk driving after a traffic stop on 13th Street West Tuesday night.

Officers received 14 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Montana Highway Patrol took care of the motor home apparently blocking a lane of traffic near a bar along U.S. 2 around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
