Reason for 'caution' unknown

Kalispell Police Department received two reports of yellow caution tape strung across the roadway in the 100 block of West Center Street and at Woodland Avenue and Second Street late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

A woman called to report that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her with phone calls and text messages.

Police received a report of children playing with matches and a lighter and trying to light a bush on fire. Police spoke with parents, and the children were counseled.

A man was reportedly passed out in his blue Chevy pickup at the corner of First Avenue and Nevada Street at 1:40 a.m. Sunday.

Two horses were reported on the north side of the roundabout at Stillwater Road and West Reserve at 1:44 a.m. Sunday.

Two brothers were separated after a verbal dispute on Rising Sun Circle at 2:46 a.m. Sunday.

Police responded to a 911 call for a 24-year-old man having chest pains. The man reportedly was “on meth” at 4:05 a.m. in the 600 block of East Idaho Street.

Dogs were locked in a white Chevy Tahoe at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Hutton Ranch Road. One dog was crying, but the window was left down and the dog was OK.

Police took a report of a hit-and-run noninjury accident at 11:57 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Idaho Street.

Police took a report of reckless driving at 1:50 p.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of U.S. 93 South. A Harley-Davidson motorcycle apparently almost clipped the front of a blue Ford Festiva.

A Ford Bronco was reportedly being driven “all over the road” on U.S. 2 and West Valley Road at 5:11 p.m. Saturday.

A 7-year-old girl was reportedly stuck by her father. The incident was reported at 5:25 p.m. Saturday from a Sunnyview Lane emergency room.

Three or four children reportedly threw rocks and broke a window at a business in the 1300 block of First Avenue East. The incident occurred at 6:02 p.m. Saturday.

Police took a report of a physical disturbance at 6:09 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Rosewood Drive. Someone left an apartment, punched a vehicle and went back inside.

A theft was reported at 6:50 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of U.S. 93 North after a woman laid her wallet down in the store and left. When she returned several hours later it was gone.

Police took a report of disorderly conduct at 8:37 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Wyoming Street after a woman who had been drinking broke a window and was bleeding from her hand.

Police took a report of criminal mischief at 9:03 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Wyoming Street after five people broke down the door of a house and left the scene.

A physical disturbance was reported at 9:39 p.m. in the 300 block of Third Avenue East.

Some 40 “kids” were reportedly loitering in a parking lot on Idaho Street at 10:52 p.m. Saturday.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies made an arrest after an alleged assault in the 100 block of Franklin Street Southwest at 2:46 a.m. Saturday.

A vehicle accident resulted in property damage at 6:20 a.m. Saturday on Round Butte Road near mile marker 6.

Vandalism was reported in the 14000 block of Sylvan Drive at 12:16 a.m. Saturday.

A vehicle accident with property damage was reported at 1:20 a.m. Saturday outside a bar and grill in Polson.

Alarms

A man reportedly dragged and injured his bottom on the zip line at a Whitefish ski resort Sunday afternoon. He was taken to the hospital.
