John W. Cole, 88

John W. Cole, 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. He was born on Dec. 23, 1921, in Coeburn, Va., the son of John and Mollie Cole. John and his wife Irene moved to Kalispell from Chicago, Ill. in 1997. John loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Irene Cole, of Kalispell; his son, Jon Cole and his wife Pat, of Polebridge; his granddaughter, Robin Layton and husband Jim, of Fortine; a great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Drew; his sister, Irene McVay, of Indiana; stepdaughters, Carole Gramm and husband Pat, of Illinois, and Janice Kane and husband Bill, of Oregon; and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services for John will be held on Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel. Parking is available at Bethlehem Lutheran Church next door.
