Assault leads to facial injury

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a woman who showed up at the Bigfork Fire Hall, saying she had been assaulted in Lake County. The woman, who had a possible broken cheek, was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

A Braig Road resident reported that a woman had torn up a yard after driving over it Sunday night.

A woman reported that individuals had almost shot her husband in the head with a pellet gun. Those involved were counseled about unsafe shooting.

A man said that people were trespassing on his property off U.S. 40 near Columbia Falls with four-wheelers. The trespassers left before deputies arrived.

Monday morning, a woman reported from the 1700 block of Montana 35 that her child care provider had slapped her child.

A mini-bike was reported stolen from a residence on the 600 block of East Evergreen Drive.

Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence on the 300 block of Ezy Drive.

A woman reported from a Rogers Lake residence that her son had taken a vehicle and belongings.

There was a report of a goat being attacked by dogs on Triplet Road. The goat survived the attack.

There was a report of a fuel pump being broken into on the 400 block of Fourth Avenue East North in Columbia Falls.

There were 188 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell Police got a report of an entire stack of Daily Inter Lake newspapers being stolen from a vending rack at a Airport Road bar Sunday.

A bike was stolen from a bicycle rack at Kalispell Center Mall.

A tile saw and hand grinder were stolen from pickup truck on the 500 block of Fifth Avenue West North.

There was a report of a domestic dispute at an Oberlin Loop residence.

Three vehicle break-ins were reported on the 1500 block of Lehi Lane: a window was broken on a pickup and $300 speakers and a $200 GPS unit were stolen; cash and a debit card from another vehicle; and a purse that was later located from another vehicle.

Tools were reported stolen from a garage on the 1500 block of Woodland Avenue.

There was a vehicle break-in on the 700 block of 13th Street West, but it was unknown if items were taken.

There were 65 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish Police arrested a teenage boy for shoplifting from a Central Avenue business Sunday.

There was a report of a computer being stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of Dakota Avenue.

Columbia Falls Police had no significant incidents and 15 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Glacier National Park personnel responded to a report of a woman who had possibly suffered a broken leg after a fall on the Avalanche Lake trail Sunday.

There was a report of a person suffering injuries after riding a skateboard into a concrete barrier on Tamarack Woods Drive in Lakeside Sunday. The person was taken by private vehicle for medical treatment.
