Intoxicated men taken off train

Whitefish Police helped remove two intoxicated men from the Amtrak train who had been causing a disturbance on their way to Malta Sunday night.

After getting a report of a man intentionally driving into a woman’s car following a dispute near a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen Monday, the man was arrested by Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies on a warrant and possibly other charges.

A person reported that a large dog attacked his dog on Northwoods Drive.

There was a report of a fuel spill involving an underground tank at the Izaak Walton Inn.

There was a report of a man being spotted with his pants down along the Swan River Nature Trail near Bigfork.

A Waverly Place resident reported that his wallet with all his rent money had been stolen.

There was a report of a horse being stuck in a fence at a Fairview Crossroads property. A neighbor cut the fence to free the horse.

Sunday, a person reported that people trashed a house on Tamarack Lane that had been rented to them for a week.

There was a disturbance report involving a man screaming at another man on Ridgewood Drive, trying to start a fight. The two men were counseled.

A dog attacked another dog on Vonderheide Lane.

A man who was apparently muttering about being worried that the police would find him near a Coram motel was reported as a suspicious person, but he could not be located.

There was a report of an intoxicated woman walking along U.S. 2 west near Marion. She could not be located.

After a verbal disturbance between a man and woman at a Birch Drive residence, they were separated for the night.

Sheriff’s dispatch had 56 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Responding to a report of an intoxicated pedestrian on Wolfpack Way at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, Kalispell Police arrested a female Glacier High School student for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

A resident on the 100 block of Hawthorne Drive reported that a $500 barbecue grill had been stolen.

Sunday, there was a report of trespassing skateboarders on the parking lot of a First Avenue East North grocery store.

There were 68 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls Police arrested a man, 18, for shoplifting at a Nucleus Avenue business on Monday.

There were 13 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
