Man arrested after woman's screams

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Helena Flats Road for partner/family member assault after a passerby heard a woman screaming in a trailer and called 911.

The caller, who was walking in the area, said he heard a man yell “do you think it’s broke?” before he called law enforcement. Deputies found the woman with scratches on her face and other minor injuries, though she refused medical treatment.

Credit card fraud was reported on Parkwood Ridge Road in Bigfork after sex toys were delivered to the cardholder’s home.

A woman said $300 was stolen from her purse after she left it in a shopping cart at a business on U.S. 2 East.

A 14-year-old reported being assaulted by an 18-year-old after stepping off a bus on Montana 35. The two discussed their disagreement and no charges were filed.

Someone cut wires on a 20-foot trailer on Ash Road and left a knife behind. Deputies later determined it was a group of juveniles who live in the area.

A bicycle reported stolen on West Evergreen Drive was returned to its owner.
