Pony's llama friend was OK after all

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was called after a passerby saw a pony chewing on a possibly dead llama’s ear on Montana 206 near Columbia Falls. The call was determined to be unfounded after the llama and pony were later seen playing together.

A girl on Lower Valley Road was reported for allegedly using a parent’s credit card without authorization.

A possible case of child abuse is under investigation on Airport Road.

Hunters reported a confrontation with an aggressive landowner in the West Glacier area.

Someone in Longview, Wash., reported that a fraudulent check had been passed there by a Flathead County resident.

Another bad check was reported on El Rancho Road.

Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle on Harmony Road.

Animal cruelty was alleged on Ridgewood Drive, where someone said a dog was being mistreated.

A man on U.S. 2 East reported being assaulted  by two women, but later chose not to pursue charges.

A woman was cited and released for shoplifting at a business on U.S. 2 East.

On Haywire Gulch, a German shepherd chased someone into a home and then sat on the porch menacingly.

An unwanted customer was removed from a business on Montana 35 near Kalispell after he refused to leave.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of two aggressive dogs that were reportedly running loose on Seventh Avenue West and making several people fearful of leaving their homes.

Credit cards were reported stolen on Rimrock Court.

Someone threatened to shoot someone else during a dispute over money on Sixth Avenue West.
