Man 'freaking out' during argument

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report about a man “freaking out” at a JP Road residence Sunday morning. It turned out that the 41-year-old and his wife were having a dispute, and he ended up getting arrested for partner-family member assault and possessing drug paraphernalia.

There was a report of an unconscious man in a vehicle on 14th Street East North in Columbia Falls. He turned out to have been suffering diabetes problems.

Two people called from a cell phone to report that they had gotten lost hiking in the Olney area. Before a search was organized, however, the lost hikers ran into hunters who helped them out.

There was a theft report involving cash being taken from a business on U.S. 2 East in the Evergreen area.

A man and woman were separated after a disturbance at a Springer Road address in the Columbia Falls area.

There was a theft report involving items being taken from a storage unit on Whitefish Stage Road.

An iPod was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on East Bowman Drive.

After a disturbance at a Sunny Lane address, a man, 42, was arrested for partner-family member assault.

Someone called to report a suspicious vehicle matching the description of a car believed to have been used by the perpetrator of a Saturday robbery at a Columbia Falls casino. The vehicle could not be located.

Someone called from a Shadow Lane address to report that someone had tried to enter a pickup, setting off an alarm. Nothing appeared to be taken and no suspects were located.

There was a report of four suspicious teenage boys approaching a vehicle and setting off an alarm on Trumbull Creek Road.

Kalispell Police got a report of two men entering a home on the 200 block of 11th Street East with guns Sunday night, and demanding money from four people. They made off with some money. Officers patrolled for the suspects’ vehicle but were unable to locate it. The robbery is under investigation.

Sunday morning, there was a report of a theft from a residence on the 400 block of 11th Street East.

A woman called to report that a black pit bull and a German shepherd mix that had been running around the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue East chased her into her car.

A man who had been permanently kicked out of a bar on Airport Road returned to the bar, prompting a request to have him removed. For undisclosed reasons, police transported him to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

There was a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle while parked at a business on the 300 block of Sunnyview Lane.

Monday morning, there was a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle on the 400 block of Liberty Street.

There was a report that a shop was broken into on Sixth Avenue West.

A vehicle was reported stolen on the 800 block of Third Avenue West, with the reporting party familiar with a suspect.

A person reported a rifle being stolen from a vehicle while it was parked the night before in a parking lot at a bar on U.S. 93 South.
