Detectives with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office still are seeking information from the public after a woman robbed a Columbia Falls casino Saturday afternoon.

Law enforcement officials hope photographs of the suspect and a convertible car seen leaving the Glacier Gold Casino just off U.S. 2 will help lead to the identification and arrest of the woman.

She entered the business at about 4:50 p.m., demanded cash from an employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The sheriff’s office has declined to reveal whether or not a weapon was used in the robbery.

The woman — described as 5 feet 2 inches to 5 foot 3 inches — was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and a baseball hat while carrying a backpack with white or gray striping.

A witness said she had a mole below her left eye.

Investigators believe the woman fled in a white, two-door convertible with what appeared in surveillance footage to have blue and green decals extending from the doors to the rear tires of the vehicle.

The car was recorded approaching the casino at 4:46 p.m. and leaving at 5:02 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

Those with information on the robbery are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 758-5610 or 758-5600.
