Rollover doesn't slow occupants down

The Kalispell Police Department was notified after a caller saw a red Isuzu Rodeo roll into a ditch on Airport Road. The occupants jumped out, rolled it back on its wheels and drove away, according to a caller.

A man was arrested after a high-speed chase through Kalispell that ended when his vehicle collided with a gas pump. Someone reported that a man stealing auto parts on East Idaho Street. The man allegedly “did a 360” near Cemetery Road, where the collision occurred.

On Woodland Avenue, a woman called police when she realized her husband wrote bad checks on their joint account.

An 18-year-old man on North Meridian Road said his mother kicked him out of their house and would not give him his medication.

An off-duty officer found a toddler in the middle of the road near Ninth Street West and Eighth Street East. The child was returned to the parents who lived nearby.

A burglary was reported on Sylvan Court.

Someone reportedly stole a mailbox on Fifth Avenue West.

When a woman screamed and a car alarm began sounding on Second Avenue West, officers determined it was just a birthday party and not suspicious as a caller claimed.

Rocks were thrown through the windows of vehicles on Second Avenue East,  Seventh Avenue East and Sixth Avenue East.

A cell phone was taken from a vehicle parked on Jackson Peak Drive.

Two gas cans were stolen from a garage on Second Avenue West. Another gas can was reported stolen on First Avenue North.

A German shepherd reportedly bit someone on Greatview Drive.

Signs were stolen on Financial Drive.

A four-wheeler was stolen from a home on Fifth Avenue West.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded after someone keyed and spread bologna over a car on 15th Street East North near Columbia Falls. The meat has been known to absorb paint.

A bobcat was seen on a telephone pole on Willow Drive. A black bear was seen on River Road near Kalispell.

Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on South Cedar Drive.

Deputies were called after a teenager on Sweebee Lane near Columbia Falls heard noises while she was home alone. Her parents determined it was probably a cat or raccoon.

Roofers set off a burglar alarm on Lakeside Boulevard.

An assault was reported in the Great Bear Wilderness after an argument ended with one man punching the other in the face.

Someone on Helena Flats Road saw a truck collide with something and then drive away. Deputies couldn’t find the truck or anything that was damaged.

A woman in a PT Cruiser hit a fence and drove away on Fourth Street East near Columbia Falls.

Fraudulent credit card charges were reported on Helena Flats Road.

On Trumble Creek Road, a transient was asked to leave after the owner of the property asked he be removed.
