June Rose Richter, 92

June Rose (McGlothlin) Richter was born in Roundup on June 6, 1918, and passed away of natural causes on Oct. 5, 2010, at Whitefish Care and Rehabilitation in Whitefish. June attended school through the 11th grade in Kalispell and finished high school in Cut Bank. In Cut Bank June met her husband, Frank, and they raised four children; Kent and wife, Marcia, of Cut Bank; Wanda Jo Grossman and husband, Darrell, of Garfield, Wash.; Alan and wife, Diane, of Whitefish; and Frank and wife, Annie, of Bozeman. June operated June Rose Fashions in Cut Bank for many years and was known for her flashy dress and new styles. When she wasn t at her store, she and her husband Frank spent countless hours at their ranch west of East Glacier. Those trips unfortunately ended with the death of Frank in 1995. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Whitted Funeral Chapel, 130 Sixth Ave. East, in Cut Bank. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Cut Bank. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local hospice organization.
