Big Sky's late goal ties Glacier

Glacier's first half intensity fizzled in the second half, and Missoula Big Sky capitalized with a late game-tying goal to salvage a 1-1 draw in Western AA girls soccer at Glacier High on Thursday.

Anna Deleray scored first for the Wolfpack off an assist from Amber McCann. Big Sky rallied back in the 66th minute to tie the match.

"First half I thought we played very well and had a good attack," Glacier coach Paul Holmgren said.

"Second half we came out a little slow and were reacting to what they were doing instead of being on the attack. We need to work on coming out with a little more intensity, I think. And keeping the pressure up, that's probably the biggest thing."

Goalie Patty Hughes made 10 saves for the Wolfpack (1-5-3), which has three regular season matches left.

Glacier plays Missoula Hellgate on Saturday at 1 p.m. for senior day.
