Man takes shopping cart on joy ride

Kalispell Police arrested a 22-year-old man on a warrant and other possible charges after he allegedly stole an electric shopping cart from a store on Third Avenue East North and drove it around in a nearby field. The cart was returned to the business.

A camcorder and guitar were stolen during a burglary at a church on Liberty Street.

An apparently overweight man was reported as suspicious on South Meridian Road after riding a bike past an office. Officers determined that the shirtless man wasn’t doing anything illegal.

An assault was reported near the intersection of Second Street West and South Main Street where a man said he was punched by someone wearing brass knuckles.

Between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue West, a man was seen carrying a bow and arrow.

A burglary alarm on North Meridian Road was a false alarm.

After filling up her gas tank on First Avenue East, a woman noticed her wallet was missing from her vehicle.

Employees at a medical center on Heritage Way medicated a man after he began breaking windows.

Two bikes were reported stolen from a porch on Third Avenue East.

A man attempted to get a new driver’s license using someone else’s identification and social security card, according to a caller on U.S. 2 West.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident of Shady Lane who saw an unknown person pull up in an SUV and steal a dog that was chained up. The caller said it happened three days ago.

Seven people were reportedly involved in a fight outside a business on U.S. 2 East near Coram. They were all gone when deputies arrived.
