Bonnie June (Mackaman) Quiram, 78

Bonnie Quiram left her wheelchair behind and walked into Heaven Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Heritage Place in Kalispell. Bonnie was born on Aug. 14, 1932, to Lody and Flora Mackaman in Bemidji, Minn. She married Harold Jug Quiram on Aug. 23, 1948, in Whitefish. They had three children, Gale, Floyd and Sherman. For many years Bonnie was an active member of Extension Homemakers, Cowbells, 4-H and church. She liked to crochet, knit, garden, fish, camp, the North Fork cabin, driving through the park, and going to the beach on trips to the Washington coast. Bonnie is survived by her sister, Ruth Wentworth; daughter, Gale and Steve Fransen; sons, Floyd and Sandy, and Sherman and Patty Quiram. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Scott and Mary Fransen, Heidi and Stephen Bush, Shannon and David Graf, Kelly and Daniel Gaugler, Taylor and Frannie Quiram, and Walker Quiram. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jug; brothers, Sam, Dan, and Larry; and sister, Margaret Stai. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the local 4-H program. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at the Austin Funeral Home.
