Report of gunshot stirs park activity

The Kalispell Police Department responded to Woodland Park after someone fired a gunshot in the air and then fled. A man injured his knee after the shot was fired, but no one else was hurt. The suspected male shooter and an alleged female accomplice fled into the woods and were not located.

A man was reported to police after refusing to leave his hotel room on East Idaho Street well after check-out time. Officers made him leave.

Officers received a report of a teenage boy destroying a street sign and jumping on cars near a business on East Idaho Street. He was gone when officers arrived.

On West Idaho Street, a woman said money was stolen from her purse when she left it unattended at a business.

Fraud was reported by a caller on U.S. 93 North.

Someone drove over construction cones on Woodland Avenue, apparently confusing drivers.

A group of 20 kids were accused of trespassing on First Avenue East North.

A big-screen television was stolen from a home on First Avenue West.

 Skateboarders were warned after someone on First Avenue West reported they were too noisy.

An employee at a business on U.S. 2 West reported being harassed after a man accused her of reporting him to police for driving drunk. The man allegedly returned to the business and asked for personal information about the woman, but was denied.

Two windows were busted out of a vehicle on Woodland Park Drive.

Someone shot a house on Fourth Street West with a paintball gun.

A woman was accused of passing four counterfeit $20 bills at a business on North Main Street.

A caller near Third Avenue West and Third Street West found a “full pot pipe” and turned it over to officers.

A woman on Second Avenue West called police after learning her 8-year-old son was stealing.

A man was cited and released after allegedly pulling a woman’s hair during a dispute near U.S. 93 North.
