Suspected rabbit shooters questioned

The Kalispell Police Department responded at 5:42 p.m. Saturday after someone reported that neighbors were shooting rabbits with a BB gun in the 1100 block of Eighth Avenue East.

Someone reported receiving a fraudulent $3,980 check from Ontario, Canada, on Saturday.

Someone reported that a Honda Accord was broken into while it was parked at a parking lot outside a theater and speakers were stolen at 9:38 p.m. Saturday.

A blue-gray 2009 Subaru Outback Legacy was reported stolen from the 300 block of First Avenue West around 2 a.m. Sunday.

A man was bleeding from an eye and unconscious at Second Street East and College Avenue at 2:03 a.m. Sunday.

A 21-year-old man was transported to the hospital after he was allegedly trying to bite people in the 800 block of Seventh Avenue East at 2:14 a.m. Sunday.

A fight between six to 10 people at an Appleway Drive residence was reported at 3:31 a.m. Sunday. There were two victims, but one had already left by the time police arrived, and the other was very intoxicated. Police cleared the apartment except for the leaseholder.

Neighbors reported that a broken sprinkler was flooding a basement at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Rockefeller Drive. The city water department was contacted.

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary at 4:05 a.m. Sunday on Electric Avenue in Bigfork.

A vehicle was reported stolen at 1:27 a.m. Sunday on Morning View Drive in Kalispell.

Deputies received a report of road rage at 8:34 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 2 East.

Criminal mischief occurred at 6:58 p.m. Saturday on Orchard Ridge Road.

An animal bit someone at 6:26 p.m. Saturday on Shady Lane and at 9:01 a.m. Saturday on East Reserve Drive.

Animals were reported “at large” at 2: 51 p.m. Saturday in the 77700 block of U.S. 2 East and at 2:05 p.m. Saturday on Conrad Drive.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disorderly conduct call at 3:08 a.m. Saturday in the 39600 block of Big Sky Lane near Polson. A male suspect was questioned.
