Zelma L. Strasdin went to meet her Lord on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at the age of 98, at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. She was born Jan. 3, 1912, in Imperial, Calif. Zelma was the second of four children to Peter and Libe Strasdin. Strong values were instilled at an early age, which encouraged Zelma to pursue an interest in the ministry. After being preceded in death by her mother and older sister, Zelma moved to the Immanuel Lutheran Home in 2004, where she was loved and cared for. During her stay at Immanuel Lutheran Home, she was preceded in death by her younger sister and younger brother. Zelma was preceded in death by her sisters, M. Helene Meinicke and Elsa Macfarlane; and brother, Arthur Stasdin.
