Vehicle fire contained to one truck

The Kalispell Fire Department doused a vehicle fire in the 1200 block of U.S. 2 West at about 9 a.m. Wednesday. The fire, which began in the engine compartment of a parked Toyota pickup truck, totaled the vehicle but did not damage other vehicles only feet away. Firefighters controlled the flames within about 10 minutes of the initial report.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded after reports of a male with bloody hands and face asking for money at a business on U.S. 2 East in Evergreen. Paramedics treated the man, but he refused to say what happened to him.

Two men were accused of stealing items from a woman on Stonehenge Place after a woman hired them to help her move.

A man on Elk Park Drive reported that his neighbor’s dog was urinating on his bushes.

Two men reported as suspicious for sleeping in a vehicle on Beaver Creek Ranch Road said they were staying near a job site rather than drive home.
