Kalispell Police Department officers cited a teenage boy for hit-and-run after he allegedly collided with a vehicle on Third Avenue East and then left the scene. The collision was witnessed by a Homeland Security official who followed the young driver to a nearby parking lot, called law enforcement and waited until they arrived.

A woman on Airport Road found damage to her vehicle, and reported she believed her neighbors had committed a hit-and-run violation. Another hit-and-run was reported on Windward Way where someone hit a sign then fled, but the driver later called to report the collision.

A man was arrested for partner/family member assault and tampering with a communication device after he allegedly hit a woman on Two Mile Drive.

Officers arrested a man for theft and outstanding warrants after he was allegedly seen cutting into boxes and rifling through merchandise at a business on U.S. 93 North.

On West Nicklaus Avenue, a landlord accused a former tenant of stealing furniture.

A Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen on Woodland Park Drive, but law enforcement notified the owner it had been towed.

A man on Trump Drive reported a possible burglary that occurred in June or July. Nothing was missing, but the man found items that did not belong to him.

Several items were reported stolen from a home on Third Avenue East.

On officer determined that an injured deer seen on Woodland Avenue did not need to be killed.

Parents were called after someone saw teenagers driving in a van on Hutton Ranch Road while littering, swerving and acting erratically.

A group of juveniles were counseled after arguing with a man on U.S. 93 South.

On Second Avenue West North, a man reported being harassed by another man and admitted to punching him when he refused to leave his property.

Drugs were reportedly found in a parking lot on Corporate Drive.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a ring that went missing over a year ago near West Valley Acres. The person who reported it missing was unsure if it had been stolen or eaten by a dog.

A man was cited for littering after allegedly dumping garbage at a private facility on Brown Meadows Road in Kila. Deputies used mail left in the garbage to identify him.

Fighting, screaming and the sound of bottles being broken were heard near a business on Montana 35 in Evergreen, according to a caller.

Medication was reported stolen from a vehicle on Marjorie Street in Columbia Falls.

An aggressive German shepherd was reported on West Lakeshore Drive in Whitefish.

A dog was accused of chasing deer and other animals on Pine Shelter Road.

A large dog was reportedly acting aggressive toward a mail carrier on Chinook Court West near Columbia Falls.

A girl said she saw a man committing indecent exposure on Depot Street in Whitefish.

Five horses and mules were seen in traffic on Lake Blaine Road.

A deputy heard a gunshot near the county courthouse on Main Street, but was unable to locate the source.

Gunshots were heard near property off of Montana 35 west of Kalispell.

A panhandler with both hands wrapped in gauze was seen on U.S. 2 East.

Three children, ages 12, 11 and 7, were involved in a fight on Smith Lake Road.

Someone broke the lock off a storage unit on Fern Lane in Bigfork, but it was unclear if anything was stolen.

Twenty-five cattle were rounded up after escaping an enclosure near Redwing Court.

Teenagers were accused of trespassing at two abandoned structures on West Spring Creek Road.

A gun was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a business on Hungry Horse Boulevard in Hungry Horse.
