He retired in 1986 and they moved to Lakeside, where they lived until August 2007, then moved to Kalispell. George enjoyed fishing and working as a Eucharistic minister for St. Anne and St. Matthew s Catholic Churches. He was also involved in the hospital ministry for 12 years. Recently George and Annette went to Oahu, Hawaii, where George was proud to parasail 1000 feet in the air at 80 years old. The family would like to thank the hospice caregivers for their kind service to their family. George is survived by his wife, Annette; three children, Mario Phan of Kalispell, Donna Doerksen and her husband, Steve, of Denair, Calif., Greg Phan and his wife, Kathy, of Lakeside; four grandchildren, Allen, Amanda, Stephanie and Kelsey; and sister, Mary Anne Little, and her husband, Robert, of Calera, Ala.
