Duct-taped man on way to hospital

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office cleared a report of a man duct-taped and tied in a vehicle on North Meridian Road after the driver explained she was taking the passenger for a mental evaluation.

A woman was arrested after a physical disturbance on U.S. 2 East during which she allegedly pulled out a man’s hair and left him otherwise scratched and bruised.

A canoe found in the river near Gosney Crossroad is believed to be related to a report of girls flipping a canoe last week.

An iPod charger was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Mountain Drive. A satellite radio receiver was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Parkside Drive. A global positioning system was taken from an unlocked vehicle on West Reserve Drive. Yet another unlocked vehicle was rifled through on Montana 35.

Two diamond rings, $30 and a book of stamps were stolen from a home on Lake Blaine Road.

Someone reported a possible burglary on McDowell Drive in Bigfork after finding a door slightly ajar.

Two angry former roommates were counseled after a verbal disturbance on East Newlin Drive in Marion.

A tool kit worth an estimated $300 was stolen on King’s Way.

A caller thought a fugitive from Utah might have approached her on Orchard Ridge Road. The fugitive has since been arrested in Utah, however.

Someone called to report a private boat launch had been used without permission on Big Harbor Drive in Bigfork.

A disorderly man riding a bike and holding a beer was arrested near U.S. 2 East after refusing to leave a business there.

Kalispell Police helped a group of citizens remove a stranded three-legged dog that had fallen in a gully near First Avenue East North.

A woman said that an unknown man attempted to enter her vehicle while she was in it on Fourth Avenue West. Police were unable to locate the man.

Police were called after a wheelchair-bound woman became stuck in a bathroom stall on West Idaho Street. A janitor helped her out.

A camera, hatchet and global positioning system were taken from a vehicle on Fifth Avenue East.

A hit-and-run collision was reported on East Idaho Street.

A woman was arrested for allegedly falsely reporting that a man had entered her home on Cyclone Drive.

Two people were seen fighting on Conrad Drive.

On East California Street, a woman reported that a man had beat on a car and trailer with his fist until it was bloody. Officers determined he was distraught over a breakup.

Someone on First Street West called police after waking up and finding the front door had been kicked in. Nothing appeared to be stolen.

Five dollars were stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue West.
