Apparently not everyone can hold their liquor

Kalispell Police were called after a group of people were seen “partying and urinating” at a business near U.S. 93 South. They were eventually asked to leave.

In another incident of public intoxication, two men were found passed out in bushes near East Idaho Street. One of them received medical treatment.

A camper was stolen from a residence on Fifth Avenue West.

Items were stolen from a vehicle on Wolfpack Way.

A caller said lockers were open and cash was missing from a business on U.S. 93 South, but no one was around when officers arrived.

A bike was stolen near 10th Street West. Another bike was stolen on First Avenue East North.

A 16-year-old boy suffered a leg injury after being struck by a vehicle on North Meridian Road.

Someone reported a hit-and-run collision near U.S. 93 South. The owner of the offending vehicle did leave a note on the damaged vehicle.

Officers were called to Rising Sun Circle after a woman was served with a restraining order and then approached the man who requested it two hours later.

Graffiti was reported on Airport Road. A wallet and purse were found nearby.

A woman was reported missing on Sixth Avenue East North along with her three children. Officers determined she was staying with a friend.

Someone saw an infant in a car with no one nearby on Third Avenue East North. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

Someone notified Flathead Sheriff’s Office deputies that a cat has been stuck in a tree near 14th Street East North in Columbia Falls for the past three days.

On Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls, someone saw a horse with its head stuck between a fence and a building. The horse eventually freed itself.

Fraud was reported after a caller on U.S. 2 East discovered what they believed was a counterfeit $100 bill. Deputies determined that it was real.

A dog seen dragging a chain near U.S. 2 East was taken to an animal shelter.

Potential child abuse was reported after a woman overheard a conversation at a business on Fourth Street South near Martin City and called deputies from a pay-phone.

A man cut his wrist and neck during an argument with a woman, then fled before deputies arrived on Spring Creek Drive. He was later found and arrested for partner/family member assault.

A father called deputies to notify them that he intended to discipline his 15-year-old daughter on Steel Bridge Road. The daughter called deputies a short time later to report child abuse. She said her father would not return her wallet. Both were counseled.

A traveler couldn’t find a vehicle left near the airport on U.S. 2 East. The key had been left under the floor mat, and the owner believed it had been stolen.

Ukrainian exchange students were accused of theft at a business on U.S. 2 East near Martin City.

Someone took a PlayStation from an unlocked home on U.S. 2 East.

Facebook harassment sparked a verbal disturbance between two men and a woman on Klondike Loop.

An unruly 14-year-old boy was arrested after allegedly “tearing up the house and refusing to go to bed” on West Cottonwood Drive.
