Dawn Marie Kell Fraser, 81

Dawn Marie Kell Fraser, 81, died Aug. 30, 2010, in Whitefish. She was born July 4, 1929, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Pauline Jane Rebetore and Ira Elmer Kell. Dawn was raised in Whitefish with her sister Betty Jane Kell Nucci. Dawn graduated from Whitefish High School and attended the University of Washington in Seattle. She married John Angus Fraser. The couple retired in Seattle in1992 and moved to Whitefish, where they enjoyed golfing with the Shriners. Dawn played bridge, and pursued her talents in organ and piano music. She is survived by their only daughter, Laurie Nakamoto, who lives with her husband in Arlington, Va.; two nieces, Susan Schenk and Mai Britt Bennett, both of Whitefish; and a nephew, John Angus Fraser, of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by a cousin, Paulette Thompson, of Eugene, Ore. A memorial service will be announced in the future. She is being cared for by Austin Funeral Home.
