Karen Elizabeth Jones Rost, 44

Karen Elizabeth Jones Rost, 44, wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend, passed on Aug. 31, 2010, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Karen was born Jan. 14, 1966, in Shelby and raised in Columbia Falls. She married Mark Rost in 1989 in Kalispell. Karen enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Snyder. Karen is survived by her husband of 21 years, Mark Rost, and daughters, Adrienne and Kassie, of Bigfork; father, Larry Snyder, of Columbia Falls; and brothers and sisters, Tim and Maralyn Snyder of Chester, Dawn and Monte Fauque of Cut Bank, Bob and Kathy Snyder of Martin City, Tom and Liz Snyder of Essex, and Paul and Theresa Snyder of Columbia Falls. Cremation has taken place with Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Christian Crossroads Church in Bigfork. A reception will follow.
