Evelyn E. Boomer, 73

Evelyn E. Boomer passed away on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, from complications of diabetes. She loved working with her flowers and crocheting doll clothes and afghans. Evelyn E. (Parrish) Boomer was born Dec. 6, 1936, at Ferndale, to Dewey and Florence Parrish. She grew up and went to school in Fendale, Somers, Columbia Falls, and Charlo, and Washington State. She married Albert A. Boomer on Jan. 22, 1955, and helped him work the ranch on Gird Creek near Hall. She is survived by her son, Alan and Leslie of Hall; daughters, JackieLee and Bob Lingle, of Bourbonnais, Ill., BobbyLee and Roger Farrier of Dickinson, N.D., and RoseMary and Sam Brown of Philipsburg; grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Boomer, Henry, Paul and Miranda Lingle, Christy Farrier, Laura Brown and Samuel and Crystal Brown; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jake Popovich, Jamie, Steven and Jessica Brown; sister, Josephine and Dale Brown of Kalispell; brother, Phillip and Debbie Parrish of California; brothers-in-law Fred Benton of Kalispell and George Sirucek of Motley, Minn.; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Boomer; parents, Dewey and Florence Parrish; sisters, Beverly Parrish, Alberta (Swede) Sagen, Charlene Benton and Marjorie Sirucek, and brother, Raymond Parrish. Funeral services will be at the United Methodist Church at Hall at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11. A potluck reception at the church will follow after services at the cemetery.
