Walter James Jim Lauterback, 82

Walter James Jim Lauterback, 82, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls. Jim was born on May 5, 1928 in Glendale, Calif., to Walter and Melba (Evans) Lauterback. He worked as a railroad brakeman and owned and operated his own body and paint shop. He loved playing pool. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Lauterback of Lakeside; children, Steven Lauterback of La Crescenta, Calif., Sandy McKee of Glendale, Calif., and Veronica Morris of Springfield, Mo.; four grandsons; one granddaughter; and four great-grandsons.
