Rock tossers caught, hauled home

Rock-throwing youths were caught by a motorist on U.S. 2 East and reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office. The woman driver called deputies after a rock was thrown at her sport utility vehicle. The kids were handed over to deputies and taken home.

A man was arrested for partner/family member assault after allegedly hitting an elderly relative on Pavilion Hill Avenue.

A boy was banned from riding a school bus after a concerned parent on East Edgewood Drive reported the boy had threatened to bring a gun on the bus.

California is the suspected destination for a teenage girl reported as a runaway on Steel Bridge Road.

Someone thought there might be a puppy mill on Middle Fork Road.

On Sleepy Hollow Road, someone said a suspicious vehicle had followed them home on Tuesday.

The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 2 east of West Glacier near mile marker 170 at 1:17 p.m. Friday. An eastbound vehicle apparently crossed the centerline and side-swiped a westbound vehicle. One person was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. A second collision was reported a short time later on U.S. 2 at mile marker 159. No injuries were reported.
