Because of intensive reconstruction work on that stretch of road, western access to Logan Pass will be closed to vehicles at midnight tonight. Road gates will be set up at Avalanche Campground as Sun Road work shifts to a higher gear. Park visitors still will be able to drive to Logan Pass from the east side.

The 5,600-square foot building is listed for lease by Scott Strellnauer with Glacier Sotheby’s International Realty. Strellnauer said he’s nearing the end of negotiations with a retail client to lease the space. He expects the deal to wrap up within a few weeks. Strellnauer said inquiries by retail customers have increased significantly in the last few months compared to a year ago.
