The Legends Stadium Selection Committee has announced the induction of four former Flathead High standout athletes into the Legends Wall of Fame.

Zoe Nelson, Lexi Miller Beck, Tom D. Little and Sam McCullum will be officially inducted at the Flathead-Glacier basketball game at Flathead High on February 4.

The Legends Wall of Fame, which currently has 16 members, was established in 2004 following the renovation of the former Rawson Field and was intended to recognize community members and student-athletes who made a significant contribution to the school athletic community.

The committee made its decision of inductees early this month based on community service, leadership and academic excellence in Kalispell Public Schools and outstanding athletic accomplishments.

Nelson was a 4-time individual state champion in cross country and 3-time Montana Gatorade Female Track Athlete of the Year. The 2005 Flathead High valedictorian was a member on four state champion cross country teams and two state champion track teams before going on to compete at the University of Oregon.

A Montana Little Miss Sullivan Award nominee, Nelson currently holds the Class AA state record in cross country and the all-class 3,200 state track record.

With similar ties to running track at Oregon, Beck was a member of three Flathead state champion track teams and the high point-scorer at the 1979 state meet. After high school, Beck competed in two Olympic trials and set records in her time at Oregon in the hurdles. She still owns the AA long jump state record she set in 1979. Beck currently coaches track and cross country in the Kalispell Public Schools.

Little was a 3-time All-State football player and co-captain of the 1950 Flathead High Class AA state champion football team. The following year, Little was co-captain on the Braves' AA state champion basketball team and was named the MVP of the AA tournament. Little went on to play at Oregon State and is currently a board member for Kalispell Public Schools.

McCullum was All-State in football and basketball and a member of Flathead's 1970 AA state champion basketball team. He went on to become a Hall of Fame football player at Montana State before playing professionally for 10 years with the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks. McCullum was the vice president of the NFL Player's Association from 1982-84.
