George Wesley Turner, 61

George Wesley Turner, 61, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, in Kalispell due to medical reasons. George was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Kalispell. He was raised in Kalispell and attended Mountain Brook School, and graduated from Flathead High School in 1967. He then graduated from Montana State University with an agricultural business degree in 1972. George was a hardworking, honorable and loving man with an incredible sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman whose warm and giving heart is in the hands of God. May the Lord embrace George and love him as George did his friends and family. Finally, George is truly perfect. George was preceded in death by his parents, Redford and Georgianna (Zimmerman) Turner; and a brother, Fred Turner. George is survived by his children, Jim and Jennifer Turner, Toni Liehr and Michael Bleken, Chantel and Shannon Brown, and Christopher Turner; grandchildren, Tyrell and Kristi Crowell, Mark Hall Jr., David Turner, Tymber Liehr, Tavian Beasley, Kaileb Liehr, Karissa Turner and Micah Liehr; great-grandson, Mark Hall III; siblings, Aldon and Kathy Turner, Wayne and Peggy Turner, Redford Dutch Turner, Shirley Brown and Ruth Church; sister-in-law, Sandra Turner; his special aunt, Ina Koerner, and husband Jack; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends. Visitation for George will be held at 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 24, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
