Pre-teen gets into trouble twice

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a man who said someone stole his wallet as he suffered a seizure on Shady Lane.

An 11-year-old boy was reported for assaulting a fellow student during a science experiment at a school on West Evergreen Drive. Later in the day, the boy’s father told officers the boy had assaulted his sister. He was cited for partner/family member assault.

On Mission Way, someone reported a scam in which someone sent a fraudulent check and asked for a portion of the money.

A man on First Street South East in Hungry Horse said his neighbor backed into his truck and then fled. The neighbor apparently returned later and threatened to hit the man with a baseball bat.

Someone on Twin Lakes Road said their neighbor was leaving graffiti on their property.

Two dogs attacked another dog on Aluminum Drive in Columbia Falls.

Two men walking three dogs were reported as trespassers on Quarter Horse Lane. The men were warned to stay away.

A man was seen running through a yard carrying a “large object” on Caroline Road. A short time later, a nearby resident reported the theft of a tire.

Someone was seen riding a dirt bike through Woodland Park. Deputies were unable to locate the man.

A suspicious man was sneaking around a building on U.S. 2 West near Columbia Falls. Witnesses said he’s been there a few times, but always runs away when approached.

Marijuana and guns were apparently stolen from a home on U.S. 2 West near Marion. The incident is under investigation.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a high-quality counterfeit $100 bill passed at a local business. The bill bears the serial number CK53846239A and is difficult to discern from a legitimate bill. Police are asking people to be vigilant when screening large bills.

A 50-year-old man on Blue Crest Drive called police because his 70-year-old mother wouldn’t let him leave the house. The man was detoxing and his mother was afraid he would drink.

A male on Eighth Avenue West said his father’s girlfriend assaulted him.

Fraud involving information obtained from a stolen check was reported on Fifth Avenue West.

Loud drums brought a noise complaint near South Meadows Drive.

An adult was called to handle a dispute between a teenage boy and his girlfriend at an apartment on North Meridian Road. Officers were called to the complex several more times during what appeared to be a neighborhood dispute.

On Third Avenue East North, a woman claimed to have lost a purse and contents valued at $2,000 after leaving it on the bumper of her car.

Unauthorized transactions were reportedly made on a business account belonging to someone on Second Street West.

Two Glacier High School students were arrested for alleged possession of dangerous drugs at the school on Wolfpack Way.

A disorderly fourth grader was counseled by officers on Northwest Lane.

On First Avenue East, a man reported being defrauded of $3,100. Someone called and told him his grandchild needed money to be bailed out of jail. He wired the money.
