Connolly, Voisin at snowboard, ski National Championship

Two members of the Whitefish Mountain Resort Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Team are headed to Copper Mountain in Colorado for the USASA National Championship.

Baylan Connolly, 16, of Kalispell, will compete April 6 in the Boarder Cross event.

Maggie Voisin, 12, of Whitefish will compete April 12 in the Skier Slopestyle.

The two skiers qualified for nationals by winning United States of America Snowboard Association events on the Inland Northwest Freeride Tour. USASA is the the premier organization for Freeride, New School Skiing and Snowboarding (Slopestyle, Half Pipe and X Cross).
