Bigfork golfers Parker, Weimer, Keenan finish in top five
MISSOULA - Bigfork had three individuals finish in the top five at the Loyola Sacred Heart Invitational golf tournament on Friday at the Missoula Country Club.
Kyle Parker finished the two-day event with a 155 total, which was good for third place.
Blake Weimer was three shots back and in fourth place.
Loyola's Tom Swanson, 147, was the medalist.
Bigfork's Sara Keenan finished fourth in girls play with a 168 total.
Maggie Crippen and Kelsie Crippen, both of Loyola, finished in a tie for first with 159s. Maggie Crippen won a chip-off to claim medalist honors.
Loyola won both team titles.
Bigfork's boys finished seventh, 771. Eureka, led by Tel Linnell's 200, was eighth with an 875 score.
The Bigfork girls did not field a full squad.
Up next is the Bigfork Invitational on April 14 at Eagle Bend Golf Club.
