Bowhunting classes offered this month

 Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will hold its final bowhunter education classes for the year in Polson and Kalispell this month.

There also will be a class in Eureka.

The Kalispell class will be held July 7 and 8 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The field course will be held July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Students must register in person at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks regional headquarters on Meridian Road, where pre-course materials will be provided.

The Polson class registration will be July 19 starting at 6:30 p.m. with the class running to 9 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

The next class will be July 21 at the same location from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The field course will be July 23 from 8 a.m. to noon.

In the Eureka area, the final bowhunter education course for the year will be July 25-28 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The course will be held at Eureka High School. Registration is at 6 p.m. on July 25 (the first night of class).

The field course and test are held the last night of class (July 28).
